Jeff Kasher, PhD
Jeffrey Kasher received his B.S. in Chemistry from Franklin & Marshall College, his PhD in Pharmacology from the State University of New York and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Physiology at Yale University School of Medicine. He is recognized as an expert in pharmaceutical development and change management, with 28 years of experience at Eli Lilly, where he progressively took on greater responsibilities, ultimately serving as Vice President and COO of the Global Clinical Development Organization, as well as Vice President of Clinical Innovation and Implementation. He is passionate about improving outcomes, bringing patients and research sites into the development process, and dramatically decreasing time to market. Jeff’s expertise includes novel product development from bench through market launch, research and clinical trial leadership, innovation center start-up as well as new industry paradigm creation. Dr. Kasher was honored as one of the “20 Innovators Changing the Face of the Clinical Trials Industry” by CenterWatch.
Currently, Dr. Kasher is the President of Patients Can’t Wait and serves as chairman of the board of Javara, and an independent director on the boards of Catalyst Clinical Research, and Univo. He is a member of the strategic advisory boards of Cognivia and the Wake Forest Master’s in Clinical Research Management program. He also provides strategic counsel to several multinational pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations (CROs), and emerging technology firms.
